We Love Film

Curiouser & Curiouser Media was started in 2014 by Rachel Bottomley and Jax Griffin following their graduation from the University of Bradford, where they both received Master’s degrees. Since then, they’ve undertaken a variety of projects as a company and pride themselves on their professionalism and quality.

Rachel Bottomley

Rachel is one of the producers at Curiouser & Curiouser but that doesn’t stop her from being involved in camera operation, editing, and a bit of directing here and there. Our productions run smoothly because of Rachel’s dilligence and organisation.

Jax Griffin

Jax is the other half of Curiouser and oversees projects as well as directing and editing along with Rachel. Coming out of the American film industry, Jax worked on projects like After Earth, Grown Ups 2, and Disney XD's Team Smithereen. They moved to the UK in 2012 to pursue an MA in Digital Filmmaking, which they achieved with honours in 2013 from the University of Bradford, where they and Rachel met and became friends and business partners. They went on to achieve a PhD in film from the University of East Anglia.

For fun, Jax likes watching movies, playing video games, and spending time with their daughter.

Sam Robinson

Sam joined Curiouser not long after graduating from the film & TV production programme at the University of Bradford and has been a huge asset to the company ever since!
